Fiona Cotter and a few other Pony Club members participated in the American Eventing Championships last week, down in Texas.  Fiona and her horse Midnight placed fifth nationally in the Junior Novice division.  This is a tremendouis accomplishment and we are all so proud of her (and Midnight)!  Please share your congratulations.

We are extremely fortunate to have a regional clinic here in Barrington that our kids can take advantage of to prepare over the winter for ratings next spring.  Please see my message (posted a few notes down on the blog) for the sign up information.  it's a very inexpensive clinic and you will have access to a lungeing clinic on Friday night and mounted prep on Saturday and Sunday.

Please sign up per the instructions; we would like to tailor the clinic to the specific levels of rider and we want to know how many D-3s, C-1s, etc., are planning to attend.  If you sign up late you may not get into the proper group.

Heart of Illinois Pony Club is bringing Susan Harris, a Level IV Examiner for USPC, a USEA certified instructor, and USDF 4th level instructor, to Brimfield IL for a Pony club clinic.  Please read the attached and sign up! 

Any member who is preparing for certifications either this year or next year at the C-1 or above level should consider signing up for the upcoming upper level ratings prep clinic. 

North Central Prairie Region is pleased to welcome Terri Roccovich for our
October Upper Level Prep of 2014!  Thank you to our hosting club, FRVPC.  The
prep will be held at Barrington Hills.  The lunging clinic will be on the Friday
afternoon, October 10. The prep will be held on the Saturday and Sunday -
October 11 & 12.
