Fox River Valley had success at championships - our kids placed in the following divisions:
Tetrathlon - Novice Boys division. Nathan Zachar - 3rd
Tetrathlon - Horse Management. Grace Zachar and Nathan Zachar - 1st
Show Jumping - Overall. Tess Sabatini (SM) - 3rd
I couldn't find other competitors who placed at championships, but there were a lot of spreadsheets so I might have missed someone. Congratulations to all!

The Horsemasters group is preparing for their fall ratings. I
would like to hold a TWO part unmounted clinic on a Wednesday evening in July
either July 16, July 23 or July 30th for Part 1 (since some of us are there for
lessons anyway) And another clinic in August as a part 2. These clinics
would cover what to expect at a rating, going over the S. O.P.s, the tree
of learning and some tips and advice on how to prepare for a rating. We would be
preparing for D1, D2 and perhaps some D3 areas to cover as well. In the part 2
clinic, I would like to have horses available to go over parts, bandaging,
tack, loading and unlaoding etc etc. Part 1 would be without the horse, both
clinics are unmounted.
I am looking for two to three C Level and above
to teach this clinic. You will also get credit for this towards your teaching
requirements for the Pony Club curriculum.
Please respond to this blog if
you are interested with your top two preferred dates.
