Hello all. Horse Trials is right around the corner. We are
planning a fun night with live music and delicious food for the competitors party. We have a few volunteers, but as we are trying to be prepared for a crowd of up to 500, we will need your help to make this the bash it should be! Currently, we need 10 volunteers to help set up tables & chairs Friday, June 20th at 3pm. This should not take more than one hour with this many people. In addition, we need 4 people help with serving food & restocking items to the bar and buffet as they run low during the dinner. This will be between 4 and 9 on Saturday night. Finally, as you can imagine, after the party, the tables & chairs need to be folded & the garbage must be cleaned up. We really need 10 people at 10 pm to tie this up quickly so that we can leave the arena tidy and all go home at a reasonable hour. Again, with a good number of volunteers, we will knock these jobs out in an hour or less. Please consider helping out for this event. It is quite an undertaking, and we truly need you! Please contact Megan Mosier-Fern by email at [email protected] or via her cell 206-484-8991 thanks!!! Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that for the horse trials, our celebrity rider guest will be Will Coleman III. He will do a course walk for competitors Friday evening, be with Nancy at the Sponsor Tents Sat and Sun, and attend the competitor party Saturday night. He is a young, famous 4* rider! We will award the FRVPC Technical Merit award, for the best ride through the water complex by a CCI * rider, as chosen by Will at the competitor party. The competitor party is sponsored by Whole Foods and the food will be wonderful. All volunteers are invited to attend. Our music Guru, Rick Vines, has a great band playing for us - the Gin Palace Jesters! ANYONE who does not have a job - please call me. Yes you can work Dressage Friday, XC Sat, AND Show jump on Sunday. Still looking for gate people, etc. Thanks! Lauren B. Foos 847 751 4431 [email protected] |
