The Masters of Fox River Valley Hunt invite the Fox River Valley Pony Clubbers, their supervisors and Horse Masters for a day with the foxhounds. Join Master of Fox Hounds,Tony Leahy, on November 9 at Roberts' Brinker Hill Farm. Formal hunt attire is appropriate.
There will be 3 Fields (groups that follow the huntsman and hounds. 1st Field gallops and jumps fences close behind the hounds. 2nd Field canters but does not jump fences. 3rd Field walk and trots a safe distance behind. It's highly recommended for first time horse and riders. There will be car followers for non riders. Bring signed releases, wear gloves, come early and have fun! Additionally, Spring Creek Basset hunt, a foot pack, will walk out immediately following the foxhounds to involve everyone who would like to participate in the day's sport but do not ride or have an appropriate horse. All are welcome to walk out with the Bassets Hounds from toddlers to grandparents.
