Peter Gray Clinic 2018
L’Esprit Equestrian Presents a USEA CLINIC with PETER SCOTT GRAY
May 12 and 13, 2018
Born in Bermuda, Peter has been a resident of Ontario, Canada since completing his studies at the University of Guelph, majoring in Animal Science.
He has established his own training centers at “Stonehill Farm”, former site of the prestigious Stonehill Farm Horse Trials, and in Ocala, Florida, at “Wentworth Farm”, offering year round training for horses and riders.
His training is diverse, and Peter has a special interest in producing young horses in a variety of disciplines depending on where their talents lie. This has made him a popular clinician throughout North America preparing students for Dressage, Equitation, Jumpers and Eventing.
As a competitor, Peter has competed at the most prestigious International Events in North America and Europe, including THREE Olympic Games, the World Championships, and was an Individual Bronze Medalist at the Pan Am Games. In addition to eventing, he is currently campaigning his Grand Prix Dressage horse.
Peter is one of only two Equine Canada Certified Level 4 Coaches, is USEA Level IV Certified, and is a keen educator of aspiring coaches. He was previously the Regional Coach of Ontario for the North American Young Riders Championships. He also was the National Olympic Coach for Canada from 1996-2000, and the Pan Am Games Coach for Venezuela and Guatemala, and
is currently the National Coach for Columbia. He is actively involved in the certification program for coaches in Canada and in the U.S., as well as an organiser of coaching symposiums and clinics.
His all around experience as a competitor and coach has seated him on many committees including the FEI Eventing Committee, Equine Canada High Performance Committee, Equine Canada Coaching Committee and as former Chair of both the Canadian Equestrian Team Selection Committee and the United States Eventing Association Professional Riders Council.
