What is Horse Management ? USPC is unique in teaching both mounted and unmounted skills to our membership: the best of America's young horsemen and women. Horse Management refers to the unmounted knowledge portion of the USPC curriculum.
Horse Management knowledge is tested during the members' ratings, is applied practically at all meetings, and at rallies when they compete both by demonstrating teamwork and unmounted skills in the barns and showcasing their mounted skills in the ring.
It is an important portion of the Pony Club mission to develop members who are well-rounded horsemen and women -- on and off the field

Hello everyone, Unmounted starts this Sunday November 16 from 12:00-2:00. It will only be once a month and the lessons will be shorter so please be on time. We will start promptly at noon! I will provide a snack too. If you are coming to umounted, please post it on the blog so I know who is coming. This will also help so Lisa so she doesn't schedule your mounted until after 2. Please check the schedule and see what the topics are so you are ready. One of the lessons will be about cleaning tack so bring your cleaning supplies. Put these dates on your calendar as these will be the other dates for unmounted. You do not need your pony to attend.
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at unmounted!!
