What is Horse Management ?
USPC is unique in teaching both mounted and unmounted skills to our membership: the best of America's
young horsemen and women. Horse Management refers to the unmounted knowledge portion of the USPC curriculum.
Horse Management knowledge is tested during the members' ratings, is applied practically at all meetings, and at rallies when they compete both by demonstrating teamwork and unmounted skills in the barns and showcasing their mounted skills in the ring.
It is an important portion of the Pony Club mission to develop members who are well-rounded horsemen and women -- on and off the field

She was introduced to this type of dentistry through a friend, and was fascinated by the theory and the results she observed. She received her education at the Center for Natural Balance Horse Dentistry. The curriculum takes about two years to complete, and requires twice the number of class and work hours as other equine dentistry schools. This school also focuses on a more integrated approach to equine dentistry. It teaches that not only is equine dentistry important for maintenance and nutrition, but it can also help fix or prevent TMJ and muscle imbalances, neurological function, posture, stride etc. She loves sharing her passion and knowledge with each client and their horses!

We have a strong commitment to the HB certification this year - great news !
We are thinking about getting a virtual study group together over the summer : weekly one hour Skype calls to tackle each section of the HB together.
This would serve two purposes : help the candidates get/stay/keep motivated - and get to know each other to calm nerves on the day!
Let me know if you are interested
