Planning on a Upper Level Test this Year? Intents are due January 15th. It is important to read the following information.
Upper Level Testing FAQsFor our members who are preparing for an Upper Level Test(HB, C3, B, H-HM/H/HA, or A)
What should I do first? Visit USPC's webpage Information on National Level Testing to read about tests, schedules, deadlines and more!
How do I apply?
Discuss with your DC/CA your interest in testing at the H-B, C-3, B, H-HM/H/H-A and A level. Review the General Testing Information and the specific requirements/information for the level you are interested in. Check the National Level Test Schedule for tests being offered in your area.
You will need to submit your application online with your testing fee by the application deadline. All application deadlines are 12 weeks prior to the test to which you are applying. Please refer to the online testing schedule for application deadlines.
Your RS will verify with the National Office that you are a Member in Good Standing and eligible to test. All North Central Prairie Region members must complete an Upper Level Test Intent indicating which test they plan to test, which Upper Level Prep they are planning to attend and which rallies they have/will attend.
In order for NCPR members to be recommended for an upper level certification, candidate must attend at least one regional prep clinic specific to the certification sought by the candidate within one calendar year of the test applied for or apply for a waiver from the RS and/or RIC.
Where do I find info on Upper Level Preps?
NCPR will offer 2-3 Upper Level Preps in the region each year. Dates, links to paperwork and information on each Prep will be posted on the Calendar Page and the Forms page.
